Marriage Yesterday it was announced the nation that Prince Charles, 56, will marry Camilla Parker Bowles, 57, in April. Buckingham Palace announced the engagement after Charles and Camilla were seen together shopping for home care products, to make new homes fit for older married couples to live in. In the end they decided to get one of their palaces fitted specially to meet their geriatric needs. The couple have been busy preparing for the marriage. Both have already taken their pre-marital blood tests, and the report was that their blood pressures were fine for people in that age group. This was great news for the couple whose honeymoon plans include a tour of the local London parks, stopping frequently to sit on the benches and feed the pigeons. Camilla will be known as Dowager Consort, not Queen Camilla, and Charles wont even let her have a queen sized bed. Camilla will not be given the title as Queen because Charles, rumored to be bisexual, wants to reserve the title for himself. Accordingly Charles promptly denied this, stating it was a well known fact that their marriage was consumated repeatedly many years before their wedding. As for protocol after Charles becomes King, it has been decided that whenever they appear at official events together, her wheelchair will respectfully follow his by several feet.
